Erin’s Blog – November 2017 – Event Planning
With Christmas fast approaching we are looking into alternative ways that we can sell our hampers to our customers. At many of the shows and tastings, one of the most popular questions asked is if we do tours of our facilities, which in the most part is quiet difficult to undertake. However, when thinking about selling the hampers we decided we could also give the opportunity of looking around our facilities at the same time. So the concept of an open evening was created, we are now planning on giving our customers the opportunity to come to our creamery and take a tour of the facilities and pick up their own hand picked hamper. There will be three hampers available, one featuring each of our cheeses on their own, another features each of our cheeses as well as a box of Peter’s Yard crackers and Luscotts Kitchen chutney, the final hamper features all of our cheeses and a bottle of red wine from Paso Primero.
I am hoping that as this event will be very close to Christmas a lot of people will pop in for a nice tour and pick up a last minute freshly made hamper. This month has been all about planning and preparation, with event invitations being created and designing the hampers themselves.
Next month will be all about promoting and of course Christmas, which I look forward to.
